Cambletown Ferry Terminal
DMJ Engineering Ltd carried out the full fabrication, shot blasting, painting, and transportation from our workshops and installation of the superstructure for the ferry terminal.
Fabrication butt welding of the 40mm fender beams out of 50D material were 100% ultrasonically tested and all other welding was MPI tested. All fabrication was deemed more than satisfactory
Aberdeen Harbour Authority
DMJ Engineering Ltd has carried out extensive works in Aberdeen harbour over a Ten year period, during the main regeneration of the harbour. Fabricating and supplying Cope plate’s wailings and tie bars.
This dock side work progressed to DMJ Engineering Ltd also being majorly involved with the regeneration of the Fraserbourgh and Peterhead harbours, north of Aberdeen. Allowing larger vessels to use the harbours whilst supplying the North Sea Oil fields.
Tarantantara
DMJ Engineering Ltd was involved with the installation and steel fabrication of the TARANTANTARA exhibition, designed by turner prize winning artist Anish Kapoor.
Using some of the largest MEWPS available in Europe, exhibited at the Baltic Flour Mill site on the Newcastle Quayside.
BP Salt End Hull
DMJ Engineering Ltd installed over 100T of fabricated high grade steel pipe bridges and pipe track within a very tight programme plan. Under very stringent Quality and Health & Safety criteria.
The steelwork package was installed using specialist machinery sourced via ourselves specific to the project installation. DMJ Engineering Ltd was highly commended on our efficiency, quality and our attitude to H&S. The project value for us was well in advance of £350,000.
Red Slide Footbridge
Working for Nature England, DMJ Engineering designed, fabricated and installed a 20m footbridge under strict Environmental criteria in the Castle Eden Dene. The bridge spans a water course in an area of Special Scientific Interest.
The bridge was fabricated and inspected before being galvanized. Once this process had been carried out the bridge was painted and assembled before being transported from our workshops in Northumberland. The structure was then lifted into place onto the already prepared bearing pads.
Gunners Pool Bridge
Gunners Pool Bridge spanning the Castle Eden Dene was in danger of imminent collapse. DMJ Engineering Ltd restored and strengthened the original structure over the dene nearly 100ft below.

DMJ Engineering Ltd was involved with the fabrication and installation of the repair steelwork to the Cragside Iron Bridge spanning the Debdon Burn in Cragside. Particular care had to be taken with this renovation project due to the fact it was a grade 2 listed structure, situated in the National Trust's Cragside Estate.

DMJ Engineering Ltd Cut and bent over 60Tonnes of 15 and 20mm plate and installed it as wall protection for the SITA Waste Transfer Site in West Sleek burn. The entire operation was completed in less than two weeks, to the surprise of the client and main contractor.
All of the work was carried out in a safe and controlled manner as expected by our installation teams, to the highest degree of Safety and Quality.
Not yet have we as a company been asked to return to a site to carry out remedial work once we have completed an installation.
Current Projects
DMJ Engineering Ltd is currently involved with carrying out extensive repairs to the Christian Radich tall ships sailing yacht in partnership with A&P TEES and the Norwegian Government.
As well as the projects demonstrated DMJ Engineering Ltd has carried out many more contracts of similar nature. Working for clients including corporate and private companies as well as government authorities both local and national. Northumbrian Water, SITA, RNLI, National Trust, Nature England, British Petroleum just to list a few.
